Cheapart exhibitions in Thessaloniki motivate Greece’s second largest city in population with a summertime celebration of contemporary art. Cheapart commits to the Athens show in December, and July in Thessaloniki where artists pour in from both cities and abroad. The two art markets are quite different yet their impact increases the number of people that visit cheapart shows overall.

Former Camp Kodra
Koitonon Building
Kalamaria, Greece

The former Camp Kodra is located east side of Thessaloniki. Cheapart exhibitions are held within the camp’s dormitories, a 20th century building surrounded by 450 acres of land and trees. Camp Kodra hosts a wide range of cultural events that take place in several of the buildings within the premises.
